Martin Schiesser is Chief Executive Officer of Firefly Information Management. Firefly Information Management is fully privately held company. Firefly is a solution company that provides world-class enterprise data management solutions for targeted industry verticals requiring a consulting, technology & business service partner with the ability to offer extensive, multi-domain data management functionality.

Prior to founding Firefly in 2014, Martin was Partner/ Managing Director at Accenture where he was member of the Swiss leadership team and part of the leadership team for industrial equipment at Accenture in ASG/EALA. He was Client Partner globally and in EALA for key clients focusing on program- and project management for transformation programs in industrial equipment. Additionally Martin was member of Leadership team for Business Services in the area of Advanced Enterprise Solutions (ERP, Mobility, Data Management, BigData, Value Realization).

Martin has over 20 years of experience consulting & software development with multinational corporations on business and IT side. His clients include blue chip companies from a range of industries; most notably industrials, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. He has a strong track record in advising international companies on large business transformation programs, with focus on enterprise data management and product life cycle management– both in internal as well external roles – spanning advisory, architecture, project delivery, overall program control and management.

Martin began his career in 1994 at ABB where he developed with SAP together the industrial equipment solution for SAP. Martin made on the client side the classical career from the key user to the program manager up to a business unit manager. In 2000 Martin moved to the consulting side and worked at first tier companies in management roles at SAP, Lodestone (Infosys Lodestone) and Accenture. At Lodestone Martin was promoted to Associate Partner running the global practice for enterprise data management. He gained strong expertise in the area of enterprise data management and implemented projects at world branding companies in different industries like consumer good, life science, industrial equipment and finance industries. Moving to Accenture Martin was appointed Partner/Managing Director as part of the Swiss leadership team and the ASG/EALA industrial equipment and business services leadership team.

Martin proved his innovative spirit many times, by patents at ABB, by integrating in the 90s a CAD integration to SAP PLM which was leading edge and was the foundation of a very successful standard product today. By developing a social media portal in the year 2000 before social media become a trend. By being recognized as market maker at SAP, Lodestone and Accenture bringing innovative services successfully to the market seeking for innovation.

Martin Schiesser holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Industrial Engineering from the University of St.Gallen and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the technical University in Burgdorf.

Christian Heuer

Christian Heuer is Head of Product Management and Consulting at Firefly Information Management.

Prior to joining Firefly in May of 2014, Christian was senior consultant and competence lead for master data strategy at Infosys Lodestone, where he helped clients to develop master data strategies, in particular data governance, organization and process design. A further focus has been on product information management.

Christian has over 9 years’ experience in consulting in information management with large multinational corporations on business and IT side. His focus is on master data management across industries, particularly in consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. He acted as technical implementation lead for master data management, project manager for EDM projects as well as subject matter expert for data strategy and governance over full project life-cycles.

Christian’s career started as a developer during high school. Among his early projects, he created a logistics solution for a medium-sized construction company. After his studies, he worked as project manager and graphic designer/web developer in a small creative agency in Prague. During his MBA studies, he changed to the Prague branch of German Commerzbank where he led the project of CRM implementation for the Czech customer base of 2000 as well as improved the business KPI reporting with Cognos software. In 2007 he joined Lodestone Management Consultants in Switzerland for SAP MDM projects.

A multi-faceted person different interests, Christian likes to combine his two specialty disciplines of marketing and IT; for example, in the form of product information management or digital strategy. He furthermore has deep expertise in all digital areas, web development and graphic design.

Christian holds an MBA (Management of Information Systems) from the University of New York in Prague as well as a Bachelor of International Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Dresden and a Bachelor of Economics from the Russian Academy of Economics in Moscow.

Ricardo Cruz is Head of Development & Delivery at Firefly Information Management.

Prior to joining Firefly in May of 2014, Ricardo was Manager at Deloitte Switzerland where he was a member of the Supply Chain and Integration team for Enterprise Applications practice. At Deloitte, Ricardo strengthened his career as a team leader for development and delivery of Enterprise Information Management solutions. Ricardo was engaged in a wide range of projects, including leveraging single source of truth of data to optimizing and developing workflow solutions; data migration and conversion to data retention and archiving projects. In this regard, he continued to be deeply focused in both MDM (Master Data Management) and BPM (Business Process Management) disciplines.

Ricardo has over 8 years of consulting and software development experience, working with Accenture, Infosys Lodestone and, most recently, Deloitte. His industry exposure has been life sciences, consumer goods and manufacturing. He is experienced in IT & SAP Architecture, User Interface Engineer, SAP NetWeaver Portal, Enterprise MDM, Embedded MDM, Data migration, Data quality, Business Objects Data Services & Information Steward, SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment including BPM and BRM, SAP HR/HCM, Workflows.

Ricardo began his career in 2006 at Accenture where he gained consulting experience in SAP R/3 and Enterprise Portal. In 2008, Ricardo joined Lodestone (Infosys Lodestone) as the lead portal consultant for the Master Data Management practice where he was promoted to senior consultant after several successful implementations of Master Data Management solutions and business process optimizations. At Deloitte, Ricardo was appointed Manager as part of the Enterprise Application practice where he continued to extend his experience as an architect, technical team lead and as a manager with strong implementation and problem solving skills.

Ricardo has a degree from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, Portugal, majoring in Telecommunications and Electronic systems and a Bachelor in Electronic and Telecommunications from the Instituto Militar dos Pupilos do Exercito.

Fernando Vieira is Head of Managed Business Services at Firefly Information Management.

Prior to joining Firefly in 2015, Fernando was Principal at Infosys Lodestone Management Consultants where he was member of the Information Management community and Head of Data Migration and Information Transformation practice. He was the central communication point for any Data Migration activities, with a very broad range of activities, from answering to RFPs to support migration delivery work. At Infosys Lodestone, Fernando strengthened his career in the Data Migration area, delivering successfully multiple high complexity migrations.

Fernando has over 12 years of experience in consulting, with a polyvalent profile, having collaborated with Accenture and Infosys Lodestone in several countries, facing different industries, coupling technical, functional and business experiences and demonstrating strong problem solving skills. His industry exposure has been life sciences, consumer goods and industrial equipment. He has been performing data extraction, conversion and upload in several countries and industries in a multinational environment (Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Ukraine, etc). He also has experienced functional projects, having performed SAP MM and APO-DP implementations. Fernando was also faced with business related roles, as a Distribution Centre Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain for a Global Traceability project delivered in a multinational pharmaceutical company.

Fernando began his career in 2001 at Infineon, where he gained his first insights into SAP from his “SAP NET Reporting” traineeship. In 2002, Fernando decided to start his consulting career and moved to Accenture, where he was promoted to Senior Consultant, due to his successfully experiences in data migration projects. At this role, Fernando had the opportunity to acquire his functional experiences, delivering purchasing and demand planning projects. Later on, Fernando had the chance to collaborate with Lodestone (now Infosys Lodestone), where he further developed his Data Migration skills and could also experience a business role in an innovative Global Batch Traceability program at a multinational Pharma company. Supported on those projects, Fernando was appointed Principal and was also assigned with the Head of Data Migration and Information Transformation role, where he continued to develop his data migration and transformation skills.

Fernando Vieira holds a degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering from the Engineer Porto University and an Executive MBA degree from the Porto Business School.

Adrian Brünisholz is member of the board of Firefly Information Management.

Besides his role as a founding member of Firefly, Adrian works as a CFO for a life insurance company with assets under management of 1 billion Swiss francs.

Adrian has over 20 years of experience in the financial service industry and more than 15 years in different finance functions within leading insurance companies focusing on corporate strategy, finance and project management.

Adrian Brünisholz holds an MBA of the Universities of Rochester/NY and Berne. Prior to his Master’s degree he studied Business Economist HWV at the haute école de gestion in Fribourg, Switzerland.

Dr. Diane Bitzel is member of the board of Firefly Information Management.

Diane is currently CIO of Lonza, a global life science company. Before joining Lonza, she was CIO and Head of HR for a global food manufacturer and has held senior IT leadership positions with Syngenta, a global agrochemical manufacturer. Before this, she has served more than twelve years as management consultant with Capgemini and other consultancy firms.

Her focus is on IT operations, HR transformations, strategy development and implementation, process design and implementation, change management, shared services and business process outsourcing. She has 19 years of consulting and executive experience, especially in the areas of IT management, HR transformation, strategy development and implementation, performance management, process analysis, design and implementation, change management, shared service centres and business process outsourcing

Diane holds a MSc in Mathematics and a PhD from the University of Heidelberg and an MBA from the Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.

Kerstin Lomb is a member of the board of Firefly Information Management.

Kerstin is currently Managing Partner of WP Global Board Services, a company that focuses on working with the C Suite to validate digital business models, define required additive talent and ensure successful integration and business model transformation through cultural change management.

Before joining WP Global Board Services, she was a Partner/ Global Managing Director of Accenture and part of the global leadership team. Prior joining Accenture, she was the Managing Director for Publicis’ digital firm and led at DT Telekom their multi client e commerce platform.

Kerstin has over 20 years of experience in evaluation and feasibility of global business strategies (digital, operating model, development and growth strategy) as well as validation and impact of digitalization across the value chain. She has as strong track record in evaluating Mergers and Acquisition from a competitive and brand equity perspective as well as global branding and positioning in fast moving, competitive environments and countries. Additionally she helped many Fortune 500 companies with (cultural) change management.

She has plus 15 years experience as a senior leader and led multi cultural teams, spanning the globe, running up to over 100 members globally, including a virtual workforce.

Kerstin has a degree in business administration from the University Rendsburg.
